Yet more Washington idiocy

If this isn’t government nannyism at its worse Fox FCC Story. I was particularly infuriated by the comment from Kevin Martin, FCC chairman: "You can always turn the television off and, of course, block the channels you don't want, but why should you have to?"

Maybe because it’s your job as a parent?

yo. bundling is croneyism, though. why should someone's program be funded just because it is 'part of the package'? o crap. i want market forces to prvail here, and if a show dies because people don't pay for it, amen. frankly, i think this will mean more of the idiotic sarcasm shows, and less content, no matter who the target audience. and as for lewd? well, there has never been a better money-maker than sex and all its various trappings, so expect to be flooded with these kinds of shows. but at least you'll know they are paid for by active watchers.
